I’ve returned to my daily smoothie routine, folks. Each and every day! It’s been a while since I had a healthy and nutritious smoothie, blending some kale, spinach, strawberries, bananas, almond milk, and a touch of honey. It might not win any beauty contests, but it’s absolutely delicious.

I’m also making a serious effort to cut back on carbs for the next couple of weeks. That means no rice, pasta, potatoes, sugar, or bread. I need to shed a few pounds! I’ve been expanding sideways, and it’s not a good look. The double chin I’ve acquired needs to go as well. My jeans and shirts barely fit, and that’s not ideal.

But it’s a real challenge! A genuine struggle!

So, I’m determined to travel down the healthy path again. A few years ago, I modified my diet and cut out carbs for several weeks, and I lost around 10 kilograms! So, I’m giving it another shot, focusing on consuming more fish, vegetables, fruits, and such. I’ve already avoided carbs for two days.

However, as I’m writing this at nearly 2 am, I’m absolutely famished! I have a tremendous hankering for fries right now!

But I’ve done it before, so I’m trying to remind myself of that. I need to stay strong, folks! Regardless of the struggles, I know I can do it.

I’ve also significantly cut back on Diet Coke in the past few weeks. I still have some occasionally, but I’m no longer downing two bottles a day like I used to. Now, I’m guzzling down water, and I can feel the difference in my body.

Please send some positive vibes and strength my way as I tackle this challenge. No matter how much I’m craving a juicy burger with fries right now. Sigh, right? Sigh!

To be honest, I’m less concerned about the number on the scale and more focused on losing inches. I want to avoid struggling to squeeze into my pants or shirts, as all my shirts are a size medium and they’re starting to feel more like smalls. Ugh! Anyway, let’s see where this journey takes me.
